– 2012 년에 지구가 멸망한다는 설이 있다. 사실이라면 지구의 수명은 이제 2년밖에 남지 않았다. 하지만 무슨 걱정이냐.내가 고작 60 몇 년을 사는 동안, 지구는 적어도 십 년에 한 번씩은 풍문에 의해 멸망했던 역사를 간직하고 있는 행성인데.

– 국어사전에서 대추라는 단어를 찾아 보았다. 대추나무에서 열리는 열매라고 풀이되어 있었다. 다시 대추나무를 찾아 보았다. 대추가 열리는 나무라고 풀이되어 있었다. 건조했다. 그래서 나는 나름대로의 사전을 하나 만들었다. 그것이 이른바 감성사전이다.
